although I have nothing much to write. Perry is off work today and tomorrow and we plan to grocery shop and rest. As I write this he is off to Sam's to restock our tuna and water supply. We are going through a lot of bottled water. I made tuna salad on Monday and because I only had a few cans it was a small one. We did not get our fill so I guess I will be making that sometime next week.
Joy has called me every day since the surgery. She is healing nicely but has taken off work until the 25th. I have not seen her. I will miss my time with Lauren. I have loved her visits. We are true movie watching buds. Lauren is very excited about the coming school year. She will be attending college, high school, and cosmetology all year..3 different campuses, it tires me out thinking about it. It should keep her busy!
Lord, I pray for rain. Perry is enjoying the reduced lawn work but we need it bad. He is having to water the lawn both of the 2 days allowed so I expect a huge water bill next month..YUCK!
I miss my sisters! Wish I could see you. You better be taking care of yourselves!!!
My flower beds are very brown..even my English Ivy that always thrives. We need rain! I am so pleased you and Lauren have had some good time together. She does have a very busy schedule.

Brad came by and watered outside . I hope my plants are refreshed. They need it so badly.
ReplyDeleteJessie is in the hospital again. They found spots in his right lung which they suspect is cancer. I talked to Jess Sunday pm and he said he was pretty depressed. Marvin is in visiting with him. I haven't seen him. I think Paula said that he spent the night at the hospital with Jess so Laura could work.
So much to pray about!
Watering the outside has always raised my water bill..I don't like to think about it, but sometimes you just have too. Perry stresses about our home's foundation, too.

I not gonna water outside. I have been throwing the boys pool water over towards the apple tree. I, too, wish it would rain.

We never made that tuna salad here. Sounds good. I actually cooked for myself yesterday and today. I made chicken noodle soup yesterday and spaghetti today.

Zita, I've done very little cooking.We mostly have big salads and one of those frozen meals ot hamburger helper. On his days off Perry always cooks. He fixed hot wings yesterday and his red beans and rice tonight. Yum!
