This is over Spooky Town....

On the shelf over Spooky Town I put these Halloween decorations. Paid homage to the old horror films...Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolfman, Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Mummy. I love those old gray movies, as Nick called them. Yes, of course I have them on dvd.

  1. I see the reference to those movies. this is the month for all the tv horror flicks to show, too.

I was wishing I had enough discipline or time to scrap my halloween book. I got a book and its embellishments on halloween at Tues Morning over a year ago and I was gonna make a book with the costumes we all wore thru the years

I scrap all the time in my head, but I can't seem to get physical with it!

o me wish I could sit on your couch and walk thru memories of halloween times and maybe we could scrap some together.....only in my dreams...huh. I don't seem to be able to be in control of my life lately, I do think things are looking up. I am so proud of that

Hugs and Kisses and halloween good wishes

  2. I always was in a state of semi scared when we watched movies that had zombies in them. Even the one with bob hope in it

  3. I too have had the urge to scrap but just thinking about trying to find things in that big messy pile takes the notion away...I have quite a few Halloween pages scrapped. I know I could easily fill an album with the pix I have and you probably have twice the pictures i have. Norma, maybe the day is coming soon when we will have time to laugh, scrap, play games, pray together....I hope so. My heart aches for you and your situation. I pray it will be better soon...please Lord...Take care of my sister...I ask this in Jesus Name.

I love the old monsters..zombies are more scary..trust me you have not seen the newer zombie movies..usually they start with situations that are believable...you know me..I love a good horror movie.

  5. I hope so. I am so ready to have quiet and restful times and times of laughter and such.
I look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. I am not sure if Wesley's side of the family will do anything. Jim is in such a shape plus living in the nursing home. Ronnie can't stand to see his brother like this...(too bad if I can't, huh) Guess I still got a little CAT in me. His sisters other than JoAnne are scattered.
I know he loves family so I feel for him, the redeeming thing is he forgets he didn't see them lately

  6. I like your decorations but I am not into horror flicks at all! I think I use to watch them when I was younger but not anymore.

Praying everything picks up for everyone. I do miss times together. My vacation with family around was really great. I did miss Norma not being with us as much. Maybe we will be able to have a little all together sister time again soon.

  7. I think the skeletons came out cool. They are made of rubber and I pinned them (with 1 straight pin) to the birdhouses. The posture is their own. As with all my things these are decades old.
